Remember the days of Snoop Doggy Dogg? Those are no more as Snoop has had a complete makeover since the start of the year; his name is now Snoop Lion and his sound has gone from rap to rastafarian. Peter Yang photographed Snoop in Los Angeles for this month’s issue of Rolling Stone. Although his name and direction have changed, the images show characteristic Snoop – smoking a joint in a red fur coat. His new album, appropriately named Reincarnated, just released last month and has already gained a lot of attention.

Three of DSREPS’ photographers were featured in PDN’s Photo Annual this year! Rennie Solis’ global Vans campaign was selected for the advertising section. Both Jeff Minton & Bryce Duffy were selected for the magazine/editorial section. Jeff’s image is from the article “Crystal Takes Hollywood”, about Crystal the monkey from NBC’s Animal Practice. Bryce’s image is from Outside Magazine titled “Project Angel Thunder #1″, about Project Angel Thunder, the largest search-and-rescue operation in the world.

Bryce Duffy spent a week shooting video for the CMH Heli-Skiing operation at the end of February! Located in the Selkirk Mountains in British Columbia, there was plenty of fresh powder for professional K2 skiers Pep Fujas and Andy Mahre, both showing off their amazing skills in the video. The video gives a great overview of the beautiful mountains and surrounding area!

Kenny Chesney is getting ready kick off his summer tour! Before jetting off to Vegas for the first show, Chris McPherson photographed Chesney for this week’s Entertainment Weekly. The shots were taken at Malibu’s Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, while Chesney enjoyed a few Coronas and some calamari. The No Shoes Nation tour is happening across the country now!

Think: Traveling far and wide to just to catch a wave all by yourself! This is the philosophy behind Roark, a clothing line for the adventurer. Appropriately, Chris McPherson traveled to gorgeous Bali to shoot for their new campaign. See more of these eccentric images here!

Netflix has come a long way in just a few short years! Bryce Duffy recently photographed Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix, for this week’s issue of Bloomberg Businessweek. These iconic images capture exactly what the article discusses –  Hastings’ rise to the elite in Silicon Valley. Check it out on newsstands now!

Chris McPherson photographed the cover of this month’s issue of Outside magazine! Chris and his crew shot in Austin, Texas, and captured these fantastic behind the scenes images as well. Chris’ assistant, Brad Nelson, as well as Tyson, the second assistant, are all pictured. Looks like it was a chilly day to be shooting these summery images!

Who doesn’t love cereal?! Maren Caruso did a short video all about eating a bowl of cereal. It is so simple and fun – check it out!

With just a few weeks of school left, parents are getting ready to have their kids home for the summer! Christa Renee recently photographed for the ‘Home’ and ‘Kids’ sections of Parents Magazine. Both sections give parents great ideas for having their kids around the house and picture the adorable kids Christa shot.

DSREPS has a new dog on the block! Amelia, the office manager, just adopted a spaniel mix from the spcaLA. 5 month old Rufus is loved by everyone in the office (and loves Deb even more). Rufus joined Louie, Cooper, and Sammy, making four dogs running around. We can’t get enough of the dog lovin’!
